My photo

I'm most recently a writer.  In the six plus decades of my life, I've been a wife, mother, grandmother, Jill of all trades though mistress of but a few, and most of the time pretty content with my lot.  As a much younger person, I believed I was called to write, but life and living distracted me for most of those decades.  An unwilling transplant from the South,  twenty years ago I unintentionally landed in the geographical center of the US.  Writing came about in part due to the unwillingness, I expect.  When caring for family, gardening, and renovating a century-old house failed to provide sufficient creative outlets, I turned to the one thing I always intended to do.  Eight titles later, I'm grateful I found myself while Lost in the Plains!

Thirty Days of Giving--DEC 11-12

So you've had a chance to grab a copy of Shannon's Daughter and the first two of the Valley Rise Christmas posts are up here on the blog. Tomorrow is Friday, which means another installment of All That Glitters. But the really big news is the next book FREE for Kindle will my very first novel, Hearts Unfold. While you can read it as a stand alone, most readers have found once they meet Stani Moss and Emily Haynes, they want more of their "very special love story." Luckily, Hearts Unfold is just the first of the Miracle at Valley Rise series, with lots more to follow. (Be sure to keep checking here for more FREE books! Hint! Hint! ) So DEC 11 and 12 you can download your copy, or send one to a friend. It's a real feel-good read, I promise.
